FUTILE SEARCH

They have been in hunt to know
Where from the fragrance comes!
They wonder; from flowers of heaven
Or some mysterious garden,
Far beyond the seven seas
The perfume appear!
It awakes their sense and
They ask everyone; which flower
To bear this holy fragrance!
They seek and find-
It is not the scent of jasmine,
Blooms at the darkest night;
Or from the splendid lotus
That has been blooming
Since the cosmos formed
And not from any blossom
Born by the spring itself!
They are in search far and wide,
To find where the source.
Anywhere they travel,
And the cologne reaches them
Covers and intoxicates their souls
And they still in search madly
And foolishly, not aware that
The perfume which made them blissful
Is in reality, from their own self,
Evolved from the heavenly blossoms
Flourished in their own spirit,
By the celestial marvel
Because of their hearts in love!

DIVINE GIFT

The warmth that make you to shiver!
The chill that gets you heat!
The assault that pins you still
And the rapture that takes you heaven
Nothing gives two hearts the delight
But only with this divine gift!
Love passes from mind to psyche
Affection travels from one to other
Romance transfers from heart to feeling
Lust conveys from person to spirit
Warmness voyages from essence to soul
Sweetness pours from lips to lips!
All these only through the bliss
And for ages it is called kiss!

A LOVE LETTER

I try to write with trembling hand
Wishing words come from my heart
Which beats and leaps up much
Though my will tries to press it
With my passion and tenderness
It is your eyes that drag my essence
Into affection and warm-heartedness
And your smile that anchor my feelings
Your incarnation beckons my psyche.
Seeing the dreamy rain shower
And silvery moonlight fans out
Over hills and dales
My heart feels exaltation and bliss,
Only because of your fondness
The bright daylight and gentle breeze;
The singing birds and pretty drizzle;
Charming flowers and butterflies
Everything romantic reminds me
Your presence is certain
In my desolate life
I wish in my heart to write you
A thousand lines to show you
My deep inner thoughts.
But the physique doesn’t follow the spirit
And I write with trembling fingers
Only this single line-
‘May I perhaps request you to my life?’

THE CLOUDBURST

With my hopeful dreams
I decorated the cosmos;
By means of my smile
I made the sky bejeweled
I myself sent a thousand
Messengers, the wind, and sunbeams
The rain and the moon shower
To show my deeper love
And to invite you
And I waited impatiently
For your return
But came back they one by one
Unable to see you
You were hiding somewhere
And I let the clouds
To envelop my whole dreams
The firmament got dark with mist
But I still wait for the messengers
Here the last one too comes
Oh! But empty handed!
I let the clouds to burst out
To cool my hopeless dreams

STILL WHY YOU TO WAIT?

The goal is far-off but distinct
Obstacles are numerous to face
But it bestows you much power
And more inspiring the challenges are
And your vision is definite and clear
Rough and hard the pathway is
With thorns and stones all along
But your determination makes it
Painless with soft petals of flowers
The whole cosmic is here with you
To dispense you the helping hand
For your success!
With all these the ambience ready
And the goal is set precise
Nature made you fit and well
To be the all-rounder,
For the entire game to play
The cosmos made your soul steady
Inducing the vigor called confidence
None could block you; none to stop
Still, why you to wait?
And why not to wake up
From this disused slumber?

HEAVENLY SPLENDOUR

Nothing suitable for you to ornament
Though I search the whole cosmos
I seek every nook and cranny
But in vain all
I hunt among the galaxies
To find the best jewel
For my sweet to wear
I have been in enquiry among
The green dales and cobalt sky
For my bellowed to dress in
The apposite and perfect garment.
No suitable bed I can find
For my sweetheart to sleep
Though I search far and wide
Among singing birds and chattering brooks
And even the whistling wind I enquire
To compose the sweetest lullaby
I explore the black night
To draw her eye lines black
But the darkest night is not
Enough black for her oceanic eyes.
Among the flowers I search
Fragrance in variety but
The spring is not enough
For her to perfume!
And I now rejoice in my heart-
Nothing beautiful
In the cosmos is not enough
For your heavenly splendour.

YOUR PRESENCE

As the sunshine reflects colors thousand
Through the dew on leaf tips,
I feel my mornings are charming.
With tantalizing fragrance the breeze
Patting gently over my face
And I believe it is kissing my soul
The symphony of birds in spring
Makes my mind dance in glee.
When thunder beats and the clouds
Shower heavily, my soul imagines
It is the rarest rain in desert!
When nature paints twilights in fancy,
My heart beats and jumps in joy.
Very rarely, the gift of nature
In seven colors appear,
Though for a while, makes
My mind overjoyed for hours!
I wonder and enquire everyone
Why the whole charm around me
And I get the answer
From the marvel itself!
Now me, doubts nil, realize
All these allure by your presence-
Your fondness boundless!
Let my soul in delight drown
In this ocean of your fathomless love.

IN ROMANCE

Perceive the sunlight over the dale
And ocean snuggles the horizon
While tides embrace sandy shore
And the sweeping breeze in love
With the garden, full bloomed
With flowers a thousand, filled
Their bosom with honey in lust
Eagerly waiting for bees to yield.
Behold the rainbow in search
Of her sweetheart and vanishes;
Nay, she elopes with the cloud!
See the night in blanket dark
Moon rays kissing lotus flora
Over the lake where stars mirror
Like glowworms around the vale,
And in love with jasmine
Creeps over the bush who in hushed
Romance with dew drops falling!
All the nature in love and desire
With its sweet loved pair
And I wonder, my beloved,
Why to wait you and me,
Though our hearts glitter
With silver beams of romance!

ENDOSULFAN

Behold these poor souls in pain
Limbs thin and twisted tongue
And vision nil in their dreary eyes
But, may their inner thoughts be clear
May  they see what you do
And hear what you say.
We wonder and question
Why you still waiting?
Why don’t you to do a bit
To save the approaching age
From being like this poor hearts
Or like other hundreds!
With poisoned blood and genes!
You, monarchs in high mansions
Have eyes nevertheless blind;
Ears yet deaf; tongue however tied!
Open your eyes, listen with heart,
They are our brother and kin
No vision but tears their eyes have.
We are not begging,
We demand sharp and shrill!
Raising our voice high-
“Exterminate this toxin
From our mother earth”
Or else our children would drown
In this hot and poisoned tears!

WAITING

With you came the spring
To my deserted garden
Flowers bloomed thousands to see you
And came butterflies numerous
Not for honey from blossoms
But to mill about you
And birds in chattering
To hear your music
Like a full bloomed sunflower
You persisted in my garden
The perfume spread around
Made envious all
They all watched your shining face
Our dreams and hopes and lust
Made it the seventh heaven
The bright sun above felt envious
Seeing your flaming beauty
The stars grew jealous
But not known if
Seeing the flowers or your splendor
The moonlight lingered here
To snog your stature
The breeze mill around here for ages
To embrace you always
But oh! Suddenly the day came
The day you got vaporized
Like a drab flower you faded away
But still the garden bears
Buds in thousands; waiting to bloom!
And the spring hangs around
Unwilling to go
And my psyche keeps it alive
Only for your return!

WHY YOU BLUSH?

We are in concert always
Ambiance changes but
Our hearts couple tightly
And our souls in blending.
Like milk and brook we mingle;
Like air and perfume we coalesce
Our souls embrace each other
Our bodies are not two but single
Like the distinct sweetest dream.
But what we search each other
None knows but we alone keep.
Oh! My dear, see the stars!
Blinking in the firmament
And the moon shining above
Did see our romance!
Why you cover your face?
You splendid soul in shyness!
Don’t you see the romance of
The moon with the lily blossom,
And moonbeams kissing its petals?
Don’t blush my pretty beloved
Come more close to me and pass
The sweetest and enchanted kiss
And elate me to heaven!
Let the impression be envious
And let the space be jealous
Seeing our hearts in romance!

THE QUESTION UNANSWERED

How the question arises?  We no not
When we felt it? We know never
Who asked it? We forget
When shared the doubt? We leave
But, here reigns the question-
‘What is in between us?’

We have been enquiring:
Is it romance between hearts
To be merged for entire life
In peace and in harmony?
Or is it passion of spirits
Craving for ages to meet?
Or is it the lovely warmth
Felt by those poor souls
When catching the perfect shelter
In an untamed deluge?
Or is it the lust to cuddle up
Like the sea and shore nestle?

Why we rough and tumble on causes?
We are sure, beloved
Reason never can define it
We agree there is ‘something’
Between us and we both fondle
Dear, that something so dear
And we equally wish that lasts
Till the last wheeze!

COME WITH ME

Come my beloved; come with me
Beyond the skies
We will make ornaments with stars
We will wear costumes
With galaxies, span infinite
And we’ll play with heavenly bodies
And we’ll fly through constellations
In gaiety unknown to all
We’ll stay under the shade
Of pearls, diamonds and crimson
We’ll sleep in gardens unseen
We might see brooks and flowers;
Breeze and drizzle, we may feel
Moonlight and rainbows to charm us
Cologne of unknown fragrance of heaven
To wake us, from dreams plentiful.
Come my dear
We will go beyond the skies
And above the stars
Where none to part us
And none to perturb our love.

YOUR EYES

So profound your eyes, my view
Reaches never !
So cosmic and azure
Like ocean; like the sky in sapphire
With bright sunshine
Bluish, like deep-sea, no spots
But tides; oh! Heavy
And profuse with farthest
Ebb and surge
And horizon beyond my reach.
Seeing your oceanic eyes
I feel rapture
Like the first drop of rain
After a long and lengthy summer
With heat and thirst.
Feel at times resembling a valley
Unknown; overflowing silver moonlight
Like the firmament in evening
With stars blinking
And constellations whisper
Nothing but loving murmur.
Oh! Mine poor soul believes in vain
It all with your spirit in love.

THE SWEETEST DREAM

Flowers bloom around me
With your touch of soft fingers
Over my melancholic heart
And moonlight in silver spreads
Around my bleak soul
When the music covers from
Your lips with the sweetest voice
The soul of mine in desolation
Is lifted to ecstasy in delight
Whilst your charming eyes contact
On my eyes and shyness stretches
Over your face in redden
And I see the rarest smile
You grant in dazzling stones
And while your hands round
My soul and dreams
I am elated to skies in bliss
I see gleaming stars
And glittering constellation
As the sweetest scent of your love
In fragrance nowhere felt
By none through the ages
Covers me and your sweet lips
Touch my thoughts in love
But alas! It lasts only for a moment
Misfortune; It was only a dream
I close my eyes again in vain
Hoping the flow of dream,
The sweetest one I ever had!

DREAMS OF FUTURE

View those butterflies
In exciting color and in
Babble, the pretty chatterbox!
They never in gloom, but in joy
With nameless happiness rules
Feel they no worries, for them
The world is still in splendor!
To learn they go, to play,
To dance and to sing in group.
Hark the little lass’ prattle
In pigtails and in pretty frocks
Look the small boy in uniform
In shape like a mature
He is in thought and his face
Shows he is with earnest idea!
He is the hope of a loving mom;
She is the dream of a caring pa,
And they are the dreams
Of our future in whole!
Unlock your conscience,
Let them grasp your care
They, the brothers and sisters of
The loving little ones of
Your own home,
Are not strangers to you!
Don’t let the road to stain
In red by these flowers in glee
With your neglect a moment!

TOGETHERNESS

We are floating through the splendor of night
Along the dark sky but bejeweled with stars;
Numerous in numbers,
Like your kisses showered over my dreams
Like your fond embrace bestowed on my craze
Like your tender patting over my lusty imagination
You grant me your passion
Infinitely precious as the sunlight to the flora
And as the air to living;
It gives me life and sooths my heart in gloom
Do not seize it away even from my dreams
Do not leave my spirit alone to wander
Without the tender touch of thy sweet lips;
Over my soul;
Or it burns itself and might shatter my heart.
Your passion is the nectar to my life;
The elixir to my spirit
Your sweet tone stimulates me delight
And your touch on my sensation
Helps mine emotion to spread
Above the sky, among the stars;
Like the moonbeams over the dale
Like the warmth of daybreak  glare
Over the fields, where life grows in joy.
Let it not part my passion
And my lusty imagination
Let it stay in my heart ‘til the very last breath
Take it away never from my meager soul
Seize it not even from my dreams.

WEEPING I HEAR IN SILENCE

Oh! They decide to slay her
Yet to live for another hundred years
They are slashing her
Slowly they chop the branches one by one
Where a thousand flowers bloomed in spring
Where charming flies came in plenty
To taste the sweet honey
Where the blossoms bear splendid fruits
Where birds nested and sung in bounty
The branches fall down one by one
On the ground where children played once
Where they sung and waited for the fruits to fall
Where they amused in the shadow
Of the green leaves touching the sky
And gave the brown tender foliage
For the cuckoo couples to munch
Danced in the breeze in gay with the song
Given all profuse fresh air in plenty
Now remains the stalk in height
No branches; no leaves at all
Ready to fall; but still hoping
To live; to grow; to bloom; to fruit!
How bleak the view is!

They start slaying the trunk too.
No other go for her; she is still,
But I hear the weeping in silence.
