THE NATURE

The nature unveils her beauty
By blooming a thousand buds
In effervescent colour
Spreading fragrance everywhere.
The scent offers all intoxication.
The birds in ecstasy to sing
Songs of unheard rhythm
And in pretty rhymes.
The morning sun is bright
Beaming through brushwood
Of feral flora in merriment
Spraying warmth to all
The seven colours spread
By the kiss of daylight
Over the dew drops, dancing
At the leaf tips in plenty
Resembles the pretty starry night.
The eastern sky is like
A work of art, the masterpiece
Yet to be painted in colours
Unable to mix up
By the silly painter as myself
But she, the pretty lady nature
Paints it by her own imagination
Beyond my spirit and skill
Pleased all for it is painted for us
But to me all these beauty is naught
For you are here in my heart.
Seeing thy romantic eyes
Compose the spring envy
For the beauty of thy love
Outshines the whole splendor
Of the creation of the nature.
She is jealous over thy pretty eyes
As it wins all the romance of spring.
She is still envy on you
Trying to drag me to her marvel
Stroking with the breeze
All over me in lust;
Whispering romance in my ears
But thy lovely music in memory
Is enough for my aching heart
Nonetheless you are away from me!
Although you repudiate me!
HEALS MY SOUL

Separate were we
Till we met and
Each other realized
And understood we
And renowned we
The bond between hearts,
The world call in pretty name,
Since born of the universe,
Whispered by great minds,
Raised statues on its behalf,
Sung on its merits,
Written on its fame
Thousands of lines;
In prose and in verse
By the entire generations.
Realized we its glory
Recognized we its greatness
Wondered and got bliss we
That the shelter we under
Its cool shade, in joy
Dreamt the future together
To shelter under the shadow.
But, alas! In vain all!
How vigorously came he!
With his mighty sword
Separated us, unkind
Got the dreams broken
And he, the mightier, the ruler
Of the whole generations
Since the birth of the cosmos
We, the silly mortals
Bounded by thy rules
Obey you, yield you
Try never to row
The yacht against the least
Of thy flow; ‘the time’
Glory to thee, the mightier
But wonder is it
Heal my heart thee now
With thy same sword!

REPUDIATION
The soul is departed and discarded
From his dear heart; as he reckon
From the marvelous mind
Once grasped n’held firmly with
The flaming heart in joy
Once mingled as milk and stream
Cuddled up like sea and shore
With her elated essence.
Where his smile was elixir to her
Where the very thought of his being
Was joy for her soul
Where his voice demand
The pleasing music of her life.
But, poor heart! It is forsaken!
It is left alone to wander
Through the pleasant life in vain,
Over the dreamy rises and dale in pain,
Along the marvelous scenes in aim none,
Through the pretty banks in despair,
Lament and dismal all day long.
How pathetic is repudiation!
How pitiable is refutation!
How sympathetic is denial!
That felt by Sakuntala and Sita
That suffered by all who loved
And became deserted,
But from their loved hearts!
Hearken! Silly love seekers!
Fondle never this flame
It will blaze you all along!

STARRY NIGHT

Behold the tranquil sky in dark;
Festooned with dazzling stars,
Thousands in number and
The full moon in glee, spreading
Milky moonbeams over the vales;
Delighting the hearts in love
Birds sing none but silence reigns
But in hearts there is melody
For the gentle cold of December
Sweeps the breeze in silence
Lest it might harm the
Serene souls in romance.
Flowers bloom none; but the perfume
Spreads from romance in hearts
Of the tender souls in ecstasy
Embrace the cosmos in delight;
Like the tide pets the shoreline.
Oh! Pretty night, my dear heart
Is away from me, veiling somewhere
But the glittering memory
Of our blending in romance is
Sweeping my heart in joy!
Feeling all the fascinating marvel
I wish, my sweet, you were beside me!

ENOUGH FOR ME

No one wishes to touch me
None desires even to glance me
The deserted one like myself
Is dumped from the town!
Renounced by humankind
Look but they at my face
Only to rebuke; only to scorn
They are aghast over my appear
My form makes them fright.
Sure they are, for I’m the one
Who needs to be reserved
Away from regular being.
But you, the stranger
Grant me your smile!
Like a sunflower in sunshine,
Like the tender zephyr
It fingers my heart in pleasure
Heals the wounds in my soul
The harm by stones thrown at me
By my so called kin and friends!
By the so called human!
Your smile, the elixir to my spirit
Gives me harmony
To live, to be awaken;
To breath, to be aroused.
I bow before you; kiss thy feet.
Enough for me, stranger!

The Daughter of Mother Nature

Who brings delicate fragrance
Of sweet strange feral blossom?

Who whispers in my ear
Pretty music of the folk?

Who runs around the field
Of yellow grains, all set to crop
In wild ecstasy and joy?

Who chats with those birds
Of pretty song and vibrant paint?

Who plays with the clouds
Above the sapphire, pleasant sky?

Who gives joy for the school kids
In pretty and comic morning
Prattling along the lane,
Covering grass with small buds?

Who dances with coconut trees
Over the hills, touching clouds?

Who sweeps the dead mango leaves
Down the road, filled in dust?

Who washes out the sweat
Of workers’ row in the field
In searing but pleasant sunshine
Haste in reaping golden pick?

It is she; the trekker from the West
The marvelous lass of mountains.
Oh! Pretty daughter of Mother Nature,
Hail to thee! My sweet wind!
It follows me!

Alas! It shadows me!
How poignant it feels!
Though emotions none pursue me
Though my creature heart is left
There over the mother earth
Where we met;
Where we dwelled in joy n’ calm;
Where we lived in seventh heaven,
But only for a few moments!
And suddenly you got vanished;
But not from my heart.
It was throbbing
That you were away from me,
Hiding somewhere, kept my eyes soggy
Brought my heart the pain
Felt by each, who had bereavement
And it settled in my soul;
Pressed my heart till it shrink
Into infinite dense and credence.
But I let it stay there
Kept it there till the end got near;
When the soul departed,
Forced it to leave me
But, Alas! It follows the soul!

ROMANTIC RAIN
How beautiful this romantic rain is!
Chattering on rooftops in gay,
Singing melodies about the yard,
Showering pebbles above leaf tops
And sweetening my heart in joy!

No drums and lights but silent music
Spreading above hills and vales,
No storm but a gentle breeze
Mingle together as both in lusty love
And sweetening our hearts in bliss!

No birds sing and moonbeams hidden;
But the music of rainfall extend light in souls
 And the cologne blooms the heavens
From some unknown blossom of the bush.

With all these romance the hearts are warm;
Why, my sweet, you plunge in such gloom?
